J&J Machine buys former Emerson/Tescom High Purity facility
J&J Machine of Elk River purchased the former Emerson/Tescom High Purity Division building in Elk River on July 22, 2010. J&J Machine is a manufacturer of precision machined components for the medical, semi-conductor, and aerospace industries, while Tescom High Purity manufactures pressure regulators for the semi-conductor industry as well as other industries.
J&J was represented by Brian Ertel of KW Commercial/Envision; Emerson was represented by Brent Masica and Jon Yanta of NorthMarq. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. J&J will make improvements to the 42,200-square-foot building and plans to move all operations to the new building as soon as practical. Their former 15,300-square-foot facility is also being marketed for sale by Brian Ertel.
