New Technology Helps Local Printer Win Prestigious Award

Carlson Print Group,a Minneapolis specialty printer and a division of American Spirit Graphics (ASG),  has been awarded the Printing Industry of Minnesota's (PIM) highest award, "Best of Show", for its use of new Cold Foil technology on Gallop Photography's promotional card box.

According to Darren Carlson, CEO, "Carlson Print Group is one of very few printers in the U.S. capable of Cold Foil technology on a U.V. offset press. We are able to foil inline as we print up to 40 inches wide. We have been successful developing this new technology as a result of customer demand."

In addition, Carlson Print Group also won first place in three "Best of" categories in the PIM annual judging. They included: Presentation Folders/Portfolios, Finishing Techniques, and Calendars.
