Visit Saint Paul Launches Wedding Services Website

Visit Saint Paul recently launched a new wedding services microsite, IDoSaintPaul.com, which offers free wedding planning services and provides couples with information about accommodations, venues and vendors in the Saint Paul area. The website uses information comprised from a short questionnaire to connect couples with vendors that match the areas of interest they have requested.

"We felt some of the national wedding planning websites were not adequately highlighting all that our capital city has to offer," said Karolyn Kirchgesler, President & CEO of Visit Saint Paul. "So we're putting our local touch on it by promoting our members."

Visit Saint Paul hired Stephanie Fahnhorst to manage the Saint Paul wedding market. She has already assisted with 10 weddings in the past two months.

"When you look around Saint Paul, there are so many unique venues and countless vendors providing the incredible service," said Fahnhorst. "I get to serve as a personalized marketing department for each of them."
