Grace Hopper Celebration 2013
From the organizer:
At the Anita Borg Institute we like to encourage technical women to think big and follow their dreams. We’ve had the pleasure of working with brilliant technical women from high-level women CEOs and CTOs to graduate students, researchers and new corporate recruits. We know that women are transforming technology every day through their unique perspective and unparalleled skills.
Join us at the 2013 Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing where the theme will be “Think Big. Drive Forward” We will explore trends in Medical Technology, Media & Entertainment, Software Engineering, Education Technology and the exploding market opportunities in Mobile Experiences. The conference provides rich professional development sessions wherever you are in your career: from students just starting out to mid-career technologist to senior technical women. Presenters are leaders in their respective fields, representing industrial, academic and government communities. Leading researchers present their current work, while special sessions focus on the role of women in today’s technology fields, including computer science, information technology, research and engineering.
The Grace Hopper Celebration is the world’s largest gathering of technical women in computing. It is the place where technical women gather to network, find or be mentors, create collaborative proposals, and increase the visibility of women’s contributions to computing.
Be a part of the movement as we drive forward.
