At a Dec. 10 breakfast talk, a team from the FDA will take questions and revel the agency's inner workings
[Update: An earlier version of this story stated that the event would take place at the Minneapolis Boulevard Hotel. The location has since been changed to the office of Worrell.]
It's no secret that the health care, med tech, and life science industries are big in Minnesota. But often overlooked is the importance of one particular agency to all of them: the Food and Drug Administration. On Dec. 10, LifeScience Alley, a trade association, will present a breakfast talk by Dr. Michael Dutcher, the FDA's director of the Minneapolis district. Dutcher will share the agency's goals, initiatives, and operations and also provide a review of regulatory programs, investigative and compliance activities, and recent enforcement actions. He'll bring along colleagues—including Greg Smith, director of investigations—and they'll answer questions from the audience. The event will be held at Worrell, Inc. located at 1414 Marshall Street N.E. in Minneapolis. See the event webpage for more information.
