Howard A. Friedman brings 20 years of experience to popular cereal company
Howard A. Friedman has joined Post Consumer Brands as its new president and chief executive officer. Friedman succeeds Chris Neugent who was named executive vice president, strategy, for Post Holdings.
Bringing more than 20 years of food industry leadership experience to the company, Friedman has been a leader at Kraft Heinz Company, Walmart and Kraft/Mondelez. He started his career in the Post Cereal Division of Kraft as an assistant brand manager.
“Howard has a demonstrated track record of driving profitability, building and renovating brands, and enhancing customer collaboration,” said Rob Vitale, president and chief executive officer of Post Holdings said in a statement. “Attracting a talent like Howard is a credit to the entire Post organization, and we are delighted to welcome him to our team.”
Before joining the corporate sector, Friedman served in the Army as a logistics officer in Korea and North Carolina and completed his service as a captain.
