Prima Power Laserdyne Expands, Adds Jobs

Prima Power Laserdyne (formerly LASERDYNE SYSTEMS Division, PRIMA North America), which designs and manufactures precision multi-axis laser machining systems, is expanding its Champlin, Minn., business. The planned expansion includes recruiting and hiring for 20 newly created job positions.

 “We are experiencing rapid growth because of demand for our leading-edge laser systems, which are used globally in the manufacture of aircraft, power generation equipment, automobiles, electronics, fine mechanical components and medical devices,” says Terry L. VanderWert, president of Prima Power Laserdyne. "Designs of components based on the latest capability of laser processing and changes in manufacturing strategy are creating opportunities for our proprietary technology.”

The skilled job openings at Prima Power Laserdyne include assembly technicians, installation and service technicians, applications engineers, design engineers, customer service representatives and other skilled positions, according to Mr. VanderWert.
