Spirit Airlines will start new seasonal service to four warm-weather cities
Spirit Airlines will start new seasonal service between Minneapolis–St. Paul International Airport (MSP) and four cities: Tampa (TPA), Orlando (MCO), Los Angeles (LAX), and Phoenix Sky Harbor (PHX). The nonstop daily flights start on Nov. 7. Spirit, a low-cost carrier based in Miramar, Fla., started service at MSP in June 2012. It already offers nonstop service from MSP to Chicago, Dallas/Fort Worth, Denver (summer seasonal), and Las Vegas, as well as nonstop seasonal service resuming to Fort Lauderdale and Fort Myers on Nov. 7.
