PwC introduces new benefit
PwC is adding two additional weeks to its paid parental leave, allowing employees to slowly transition back to work. PwC employees who are new mothers take an average of 21 weeks of leave, and 72 percent of its employees who are new fathers take an average of six weeks of leave. With this recently introduced benefit, new parents can work 60% of their hours while being paid 100% of their salary for the four weeks following paid leave.
In addition, the firm is giving all employees at all levels a $1,000 bonus to be used specifically for wellness. In Minneapolis, this is a $700,000 commitment for its 700 employees.
