Minnesota is fortunate to have bountiful water resources along with a seasoned expertise in water issues and technology. Plymouth-based TonkaWater, which celebrates its 60th anniversary this year, has leveraged this knowledge to provide customized solutions to water treatment problems across North America. Such downstream problems can range from brine seeping into the water table in Florida to tackling the nitrates in Minnesota’s waterways. But TonkaWater CEO Ryan Godfrey says the company is also concerned with upstream problems – the sources of water impurities. Cyndy Brucato of Greater MSP Business recently talked with Godfrey, who explains why his company is helping to sponsor the third annual Water Technology Summit.
