Now called Impact Hub Minneapolis-St. Paul, the center is the first in the midwest to join the global network of Impact Hubs
Last month we reported on the MN Social Impact Center's quest to become the first Impact Hub in the Midwest — and we are pleased to report that as of last week they have met their goal. They are now officially Impact Hub Minneapolis-St. Paul, and are joining 66 other Impact Hubs around the world.
An Impact Hub, according to Impact Hub MSP, is "part innovation lab, business incubator, and social enterprise community center."
Impact Hub MSP is currently located in the North Loop in Minneapolis, but with their new Impact Hub status, it expects growth and are actively looking for a larger space to better accommodate its members and to facilitate connection.
"We are thrilled to join the Impact Hub Global network!" says Impact Hub MSP Co-Founder Mary Rick. "This honor will help us connect local entrepreneurs, creatives, and changemakers to a global network of leaders. And as the first Impact Hub in the Midwest, we're proud to share our talent, experience, and passion with Impact Hub members across the globe. This puts Minneapolis-St. Paul on the map with a very cool community of social entrepreneurs around the world."
Membership benefits include access to their coworking space and events. To become a member of Impact Hub MSP visit their website.
