On July 16, the Carlson School of Management will host the Power & Influence seminar
It isn’t enough for business leaders to be knowledgeable in their field. They must also move and persuade others to support the decisions they make. On July 16, the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management will host the executive education course Power & Influence: Strategically Managing Business Relationships. The class is ideal for managers or team leaders who wish to become more influential by improving their powers of persuasion. The seminar will feature a mix of lectures, discussions, and experimental exercises to teach participants how to inspire others and initiate change. Leading the program will be Vladas Griskevicius, McKnight associate professor of marketing and psychology and co-author of “The Rational Animal: How Evolution Made Us Smarter Than We Think.” Learn more here.
