Rural Minnesota significantly lags behind the Twin Cities in watching movies and TV shows online

The Minnesota Internet Study tracks the activities that home Internet users engage in. The gap in participation rates between rural Minnesota and Twin Cities consumers has closed for most activities, but there are still a few that home Internet users engage in more frequently in the Twin Cities compared to rural Minnesota.

Rural: 45.7%
Metro: 70.5%

Download music or video files:
Rural: 55%
Metro: 73%
